…meeting current and emerging demands
Economic predictions indicate that Africa is the centre for the next industrial revolution. The Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) has taken off with 54-state membership of Africa on board. AfCFTA is expected to increase Africa’s exports by $560 billion, mostly in manufacturing and boost Africa’s income by $450 billion by 2035 (a gain of 7 percent) while adding $76 billion to the income of the rest of the world.
Ghana is the host country for the AfCFTA Secretariat and with the country’s political stability, trained human resource and natural resource endowment, manufacturing businesses are likely to thrive.
