Alfred is a co-founder of KKGO and partner for Accounting Advisory and Assurance. With nearly 20 years of experience in business and practice, he brings to the table deep insights, knowledge and hands-on experience to help clients solve evolving problems.
He works closely with KKGO's CEO & Senior Partner to drive the firm's superlative one-word value – 'diligence' through the various layers of the firm and ensures that clients derive the benefits of diligence in the firm's service delivery.
He approaches problems with the mindset that 'there is no problem without a solution'. With this attitude, he goes every length to work with clients to find solutions to their needs. His offerings are heavily influenced by his deep understanding of the regulatory environment in Ghana, given his additional training in law.
He assists companies with operational, technical and complex accounting issues; and with public and private company reporting matters.
Alfred's experience is heavy in the extractive industry, specifically Oil & Gas and Gold Mining. His experience in this industry covers reporting and audits under petroleum agreement (PA), joint operating agreement (JoA), and other government regulations.
He commenced his career in accounting as a transaction level and reporting accountant at Newmont Corporation (African operations in Ghana). He subsequently, transitioned through the layers of corporate accounting and finance to the managerial ranks in corporations listed on stock markets. Having developed skills from the base of accounting up through the ladder, he offers wholistic solutions that also reflects considerations at the rudiments of accounting.
In practice, he has supported medium to large scale corporations including multinationals listed on major stock exchanges in Africa, Asia and Europe. As an accountant in business, he worked as Manager, Finance & Accounting at Kosmos Energy (Ghana), Group Accountant at UT Holdings, and as Financial Reporting Accountant at Newmont Corporation (Africa Operations Ghana office).
